I sort of incorporate specific carbohydrate/FODMAP rules into my veggie choices and that has really helped keep away the IBS monster (I have no bloat, and no more wind than a normal person, and it's not smelly like when I ate wheat). I always thought SCD looked like such a pain in the butt to implement, but that was back when I was vegan and taking away all those SCD illegal foods would have left me fairly low on choices, it totally works though. Definitely beans and grains were a big problem for me. I am still really stressy and not sleeping as well as I would like and still am fairly constipated, but it's not uncomfortable anymore, if that makes sense. I really need to do a more complete post on my food choices and the IBS, and I hope to get something sent to you for your article over the weekend!
The course is a BSc in natural sciences through the Open University here in the UK. You can choose modules to either make it biology, chemistry, physics. It's going to take me about 4 years, since full time it normally takes 3 and I'll still be working full time. It's going to be tough going but I'm super excited!Eimearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05359759824747897158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4785578717493898413.post-27180048482860529702011-06-03T23:20:59.094+01:002011-06-03T23:20:59.094+01:00I have so many questions!!!
This is so exciting,...I have so many questions!!!

This is so exciting, starting a new course. What school? I'm looking into something similar as well.

How are you feeling? It looks like you've added veggies back into your diet. Is it working for you? Were the grains and beans the problem?

You sound happy and like you are enjoying the paleo! :-)Farty Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18395840519336226791noreply@blogger.com
